ASSOCIATE, PARTNERSHIPS JOB DESCRIPTION
CoinDesk is seeking a self-starter and crypto enthusiast to manage inbound media sales and existing client relationships with entry-level spends. With inbound interest from 20+ clients per day and half of the existing client base transacting with test-sized budgets, this high-volume role will touch every global crypto market and provide an excellent education into the crypto industry. The person who will thrive in this role has cross-platform media knowledge, a history of connecting with clients on a personal level, and growing relationships through careful preparation and organization.
This New York City area role reports to the Managing Director, Partnerships also based in New York. The role is remote, in office, or a hybrid of both.
Manage inbound sales and existing client base within predetermined historical spend.
Build, propose, and close media campaigns for clients while maintaining close communication with Partnerships team should clients require senior-level attention.
Earn new clients through a pre-populate list of business development targets.
Contributor to sales team revenue targets.
Positive and productive collaboration with the global partnerships team is vital. We thrive as a team.
Responsible for representing all CoinDesk media products, which includes digital media, video, podcasts, newsletters, thought leadership, and webinars.
This role is a new position responsible for an existing book of business, inbound new business, and business development.
Candidates must be organized, hungry for personal and professional growth, efficient, and be a strong communicator unafraid to ask questions.
1-5 years of media sales experience either with publishers, agencies, or client marketing teams.
Must prove an ability to self-manage and self-start. Must also prove organizational skills.
Proficient in Salesforce, Excel, Powerpoint, Slack, G Suite.
Multi-lingual a bonus; English a must.
