BitGo Inc. – Head of Institutional Sales (US)

BitGo is currently looking to hire a Head of Institutional Sales for the US Region. This role will report directly to the Managing Director of Sales (Americas) and is a great opportunity for business development professionals within financial services/cryptocurrency. This role will serve as a crucial leadership position (that includes management responsibilities) within a rapidly growing sales organization.
Manage a growing team of Associate and Director level team members for BitGo’s institutional sales segment
Serve as a lead hiring manager for continued growth of BitGo’s sales team in all regions
Increase revenues across the entire BitGo product lines in the US region.
Acquire and drive continued client relationships.
Represent BitGo products and services externally in client meetings and at industry events.
Understand regional market microstructure and evolving regional competitor landscape.
Develop strong relationships with key internal stakeholders/BitGo executives by working to keep them updated on overall institutional sales metrics for the US region
Work closely with sales leaders from our international regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM)
Sales experience of 10+ years in a client-facing capital markets or fintech role of which 2 years involve Digital Assets (preferred).
5+ years of both hiring and management experience (direct and matrix reports)
Strong understanding of the complexities and challenges of financial markets and the crypto ecosystem
Experience managing or leading the sales process – generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals. Experience with Salesforce is a bonus.
Strong knowledge of Custody, Trading, Lending, Staking and the prime brokerage business model, and its value proposition.
Genuine enthusiasm for the digital asset industry and curiosity of new concepts such as DeFi, staking, and NFTs.
Agility and appetite for learning new products/technology in a fast-developing environment.
